IT Technician – Help Desk Support

Lamoille Health Partners, a Federally Qualified Health Center servicing the Lamoille County health service area, sole purpose is to help others in our community live their best lives. We do this by providing quality health, dental and behavioral health care services, as well as a providing lower cost prescriptions through our pharmacies which are operating in four facilities in Morrisville and Stowe. Our five member IT Team supports our Health Care Teams in caring for our community by designing, building and maintaining our IT infrastructure and supporting our 175 users.

This position reports to the Director of IT Systems and will primary be responsible for helpdesk support for Lamoille Health Partners users (both in-person and remote) utilizing our helpdesk ticketing system and escalating of tickets to other team members as needed.

This role works within a team environment to support Lamoille Health Partners computer systems, which includes supporting workstations, peripheral equipment, network appliances, communications equipment, and providing support for users’ software and hardware needs.

The Helpdesk technician should be able to work under general supervision and independently perform troubleshooting, maintenance, repair and installation activities, such as assembling and installing new computer equipment.

This position is primarily on-site and may include working at our Stowe and Morrisville locations as needed. All team members share equally with providing limited support after-hours. Occasional after-hours work may be needed to perform system maintenance to prevent impact on daily operations.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage Active Directory (Windows Server 2019), DHCP, DNS, printer/folder shares.
  • Manage helpdesk tickets.
  • Provide Office 365 support.
  • Provide Windows 10/11 support.
  • Configuring, validating and deploying laptops and desktops.
  • Provide printer support.

Skills/Experience with:

  • Phone (hosted/IP) management/design
  • Microsoft 365 administration
  • SQL/MySQL experience
  • IOS
  • Technical Documentation
  • Basic networking knowledge

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Associates Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • Minimum two years’ experience preferred.
  • Be a team player and a forward thinker who can be proactive with IT needs, as well as be able to handle the social interactions conducive to building a good rapport with our internal users.
