Dr. Tusa Van Vogelpoel is passionate about affordable, accessible healthcare for all. They enjoy providing comprehensive care for entire families from infants to geriatrics. Their clinical interests include sexual and reproductive health, integrated behavioral health, treatment of substance use disorders, and complex patient care. Dr. Tusa takes pride in providing gender-affirming care for transgender and gender diverse people.
They received their bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience and Molecular Biology at Wesleyan University before earning their medical degree at University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Dr. Tusa completed their family medicine residency at the UVM Health Network – Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital in Plattsburgh, NY. In their spare time, Dr. Tusa can be found hiking, gardening, and spending time with family.
