Medical Director
Behavioral Health and Wellness Center Medical Director Dr. Linda Zamvil leads the clinical strategy for the center and contributes to overall care initiatives for Lamoille Health. Dedicated to delivering integrated health care services, improving behavioral health access, and enhancing clinical operations, Dr. Zamvil provides psychiatric assessments and medication management services for ADHD, developmental, mood, anxiety, traumatic, psychotic and substance use disorders, along with comorbid medical conditions.
Triple board certified includes child, adolescent and adult psychiatry and addiction medicine. She consults daily with family physicians and supervises more than a dozen mental health providers, and often presents lectures to physicians, mental health providers and schools about psychiatric disorders. She also serves as Harvard Medical School’s Assistant Professor of Psychiatry.
Dr. Zamvil is proud to be a Distinguished Life Fellow American Psychiatry Association and a Distinguished Fellow American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Zamvil completed her Adult Psychiatry Residency Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
A mother and grandmother, Dr. Zamvil grew up in Palo Alto, California, but she loves the Vermont outdoors where she enjoys some of her favorite activities including skiing, hiking, biking, golfing, playing tennis.
