Bio:
Dr. Pluskal was born in Charleston, VT, attended University of Massachusetts Amherst for her undergraduate degree and medical school at Dartmouth. She completed her residency in Boise Idaho in 2018 and worked in Idaho at a small critical access hospital at the edge of the largest wilderness area in the lower 48. There she provided inpatient and outpatient care to adults and children, obstetrical care, as well as emergency care. In 2022 she became a lactation consultant during her maternity leave while struggling with the lack of lactation resources in her rural community. She is returning to Vermont to be closer to family and is excited for foliage (of course), maple creemees, sugar on snow and skiing. She enjoys the breadth of family medicine, especially lactation support, pediatrics and women’s health. Outside of work she enjoys horseback riding with her daughter, skiing and hiking with her family.
